This Death Row Records x Good Smile Company drop flew under the radar of just about every collector I know. I first came across them on Hot Topic's site last year and tried to grab a bunch during a sale — only to find the Death Row figures were the one thing excluded from the discount. Determined, I tracked down who actually made them, went straight to the Good Smile Company website, and copped a full box.
For fans of the most notorious label in hip-hop history, these blind-box figures are a fun, low-key grail. They will sit perfectly next to the rest of the collection — a nice nod to the Death Row legacy from an unexpected corner of the collectibles world.
