Back in 1985, best friends Cheryl ‘Salt’ James and Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton formed Salt-n-Pepa and went on to become known as the First Ladies of hip-hop. Beyond being legendary rappers and performers, they have enjoyed a hit VH1 reality show and a Lifetime biopic about their lives.
Funko dropped these Pop! Rocks figures (#167 and #168) back in 2020, the same year as their movie. You can collect both to complete the set — a fitting tribute to two women who broke barriers and changed the game for every female MC who followed. Push it!
