If you have ever hunted for vintage hip-hop on cassette, you know how tough it is to come by — especially the good stuff. This haul hit big. We pulled a stack of Miami Bass from the 80s and 90s along with some seriously dope classic hip-hop tapes.
Miami Bass — the booming, 808-driven sound that gave the world artists like 2 Live Crew and shaped Southern rap for decades — is exactly the kind of regional history that is getting harder to find in physical form every year. Scoring a run of these on cassette is a collector's dream, and finds like this are why the hunt never gets old. Super hyped for this one.
