One of the best cards to come out of Topps' Project70 series: the 1971 Don Mattingly Yankees card, reimagined by rapper and Queens native Action Bronson (card #46). Project70 handed iconic Topps designs to artists and creators to reinterpret, and this one is a standout.
It's a fitting pairing. Mattingly built a celebrated career as a player, manager, and coach, while Action Bronson has stacked up success as a rapper, chef, TV personality, and now actor — one multi-hyphenate legend paying homage to another. For collectors who live where hip-hop and sports intersect, this card is a grail. Go Yankees!
