When De La Soul dropped “3 Feet High and Rising” hip-hop was dipping it’s toes into gangsta rap and more militant political styles. De La Soul turned the rap game on it’s head with a skit heavy album produced by Prince Paul. To this day, this album is considered a hip-hop classic and if you haven’t heard it in a while or at all, give it a stream.
